The district provides access to public records to comply with the California Public Records Act (Government Code sections 6250 – 6276.48) and other laws, and to be open and transparent.
Anyone may ask to inspect or obtain copies of public records in the district’s possession. Requests should be for a specific, identifiable document. We cannot process vague or general requests for information, but we can help you clarify your request.
The district secretary is responsible for receiving and responding to requests for public records. She can respond to your request most efficiently when you contact her through one of these methods.

The district will provide the requested documents within 10 days or advise you, in writing, of any exemption from disclosure or delay in providing the information and when it will be made available.
The cost for duplication of paper records is $0.10 per page. Fees for copies of public records are explained in the District Code (Chapter 1.40 Public Records). In accordance with Government Code § 6253.9 (b) the district may charge for the cost of programming and computer services necessary to produce requested electronic records.
