Clean Water Is Not an Accident

Post Date:10/10/2017

Water Professionals Appreciation Week

Imagine a day without water. No cooking, no bathing, no drinking. Californians receive six billion gallons of safe drinking water daily, they produce four billions gallons of wastewater that must be cleaned daily, and they continue to pioneer in the use of advanced purified recycled water to replenish aquifers, prevent seawater intrusion, and make local water supplies more resilient. That’s why California legislators passed a resolution declaring this week as Water Professionals Appreciation Week, a time for all to stop for a moment and think about how fortunate we are to have thousands of skilled men and women operating our water, wastewater, and recycled water systems, 24/7/365. Water professionals protect our health and the environment while making it possible for the California economy to thrive.

Water Professionals Appreciation Week Oct 7-15, 2017, I love my career in California's Water Industry! #WeAreCAWater
