Rebates to Help You Save Water, Energy, and Money
Reward yourself for using less water. DSRSD water customers are eligible to apply for water conservation rebates offered through Zone 7 Water Agency, the wholesale water supplier for the Tri-Valley. Click the links below for details and applications.
Current Rebates*
Ease evaporation with a new pool cover! Swimming pool water evaporates easily in hot summer months, requiring refilling. When they aren't in used, keep pools covered to save water. Starting April 1, 2023, get up to a $100 rebate for installing a new qualifying pool cover. Learn details and eligibility on Zone 7's website.
Upgrade to a high-efficiency clothes washer! If you purchase a qualifying ENERGY STAR Most Efficient labeled high-efficiency clothes washer, you can apply for a rebate. Effective July 1, 2021, rebate amounts increased from $75 to up to $200. See complete requirements and information on qualifying products on Zone 7's website.
Smart phone meets smart irrigation! If you struggle to program your old irrigation controller, it's time to upgrade. Many new generation controllers offer easy-to-use phone apps and adjust automatically with the weather. Rebates are available on qualifying models: up to $75 for single-family homes, $100 for multi-family properties, and $3,000 for commercial properties. Convert your lawn to water-efficient landscaping. Rebates are available for a single-family home ($1 per square foot, up to $2,000) and commercial or multi-family properties ($1 per square foot, up to $6,000). At least 50 percent of converted area must be covered with qualifying low-water plants when they reach full growth. Do not begin your lawn conversion project until you receive a "Notice to Proceed". DSRSD offers a range of water-saving plumbing retrofit fixtures to its customers at no charge to make conserving water even easier.
What Devices Can I Request?
Customers can request any of the following items. There is a limit of 4 per household, unless otherwise stated.
- Kitchen Sink Aerators
- Bathroom Sink Aerators
- Low-Flow Showerheads
- Toilet Dye Tabs
- Shower and Sink Flow Meter Bag (limit one per household)
- Garden Hose Nozzle (limit 2 per household)

How to Pick Up Your Devices
Devices will be available for you the following business day. Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Stop by the DSRSD Customer Services counter (7051 Dublin Blvd., Dublin, CA 94568) to pick up your devices.
